PurposeThe Dixon Veterans Building Association (DVBA) is hereby formed to assure the veterans associations of the City of Dixon, California, that there shall be a place to hold and conduct their meetings, functions and authorized gatherings into perpetuity. This purpose includes the authority of the DVBA to conduct all affairs necessary or appropriate to assure the physical, economic, or operational viability of the facility or its appurtenances known as the Dixon Veterans' Building, located at 1305 North First Street, Dixon, CA, 95620 ("Dixon Veteran's Building"). The veterans associations do hereby vest in the DVBA the authority to manage and control the Dixon Veteran's Building, including all operational aspects. Constitution and By-Laws

Board of DirectorsThe members of the Dixon Veterans' Building Association Board of Directors shall consist of the Commander or President of each Association (American Legion Post 208, the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 208 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8151). In addition, each Commander or President shall appoint or elect two (2) regular members from their respective Associations to be members of the Board. Such appointees must also be ratified by the individual Associations they represent.
